Napolitano: Stands By Smear of Veterans
UPDATE: 04/23/09 -- Several Republican Members of Congress are now calling for her to resign.
Rep. John Carter (R-Texas), secretary of the House Republican Conference, compared Napolitano’s statements to the actions of dictators in Venezuela and China. The opening graf from an article in the Washington Times.
"Singling out political opponents for working against the ruling party is precisely the tactic of every tyrannical government from Red China to Venezuela," Carter said in a prepared statement.
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said she was briefed before the release of a controversial intelligence assessment and that she stands by the report sent to law enforcement that lists veterans as a terrorist risk to the U.S. and defines "rightwing extremism" as including groups opposed to abortion and immigration.Kind of makes you wonder whatever happened to that big fat lie from a few years ago . . . "we support the troops, just not the war." Maybe it was the fact that the troops won in Iraq that has so enraged liberal Democrats that they are now hidebound to smear veterans in general as security risks to the nation.
Clearly, Ms. Napolitano has no business heading such a sensitive federal agency. The President should fire her immediately.

The Obama Mess is clearly more serious than people think or understand...yet.
Why does every Democratic administration have to appoint one female gargoyle to act as "The Man" on the cabinet. It never works out does it? Janet Reno and now Janet Napoletano, all faux guys in the make believe ball room.
